Booking Terms & conditions

Payments & documentation - Full payment is required upon booking.

Cancellations - If a cancellation is made more than 48 hours prior to the tour date a full refund will be given. Within 48 hours of tour date no monies will be refunded unless the tickets can be sold on your behalf. Group bookings are required to give notice of cancellation 14 days prior to tour date to receive refunds.

Please be aware that the tour operator may cancel tours where the operator believes it may be of harm to the participants, for example weather conditions. On such occasions a full refund or amendment to the participants booking can be made if the booking was directly made with Kalgoorlie Tours & Charters. Please note: If your booking is made through a travel agent please refer to the Agents Terms & Conditions.

Requirements for participation on the Super Pit Tour

Please ensure that enclosed shoes (NO high heels or sandals), long sleeves and long pants are worn.  All participants MUST have a 0.00% zero alcohol breath reading.  Failure to meet the above requirements will result in non-participation and zero refund.  A bottle of water is advised for the tour, but food and other drinks are not permitted on the bus.

Infants and Children - Children aged 0 – 2 are not permitted on any Kalgoorlie Tours & Charters Tour. Children over the age of 2 must be able to sit in the provided seat and use the safety restraint.

All tour participants MUST be at the Tour Pick up Point at the required time, with the required clothing to avoid loss of seats. All no-show or late arrivals will be non refundable.

PICK UP POINT - Kalgoorlie Tours & Charters, St Barbara Square, 250 Hannan Street, Kalgoorlie.

Super Pit Tours will not operate in wet weather conditions and in the event of cancellation a full refund or booking transfer will be given. If the tour has departed and can no longer continue onsite, then a partial refund will be granted.

Whilst onsite Kalgoorlie Tours & Charters and all participants must follow guidelines set by the Mines Act (explained in your visitor induction). Kalgoorlie Tours & Charters are not accountable for any delays incurred whilst onsite and all participants are subject to random onsite search, drug and alcohol testing.

Insurance - To cover cancellation and other unforeseen circumstances we strongly recommend insurance. Please ask your travel agent or insurance company for details.

Medical - We recommend that a medical examination should be partaken for those in poor health prior to the tour. No responsibility can be accepted for accident illness or misadventure or loss of goods or possessions and it is recommended that adequate insurance be taken out to cover against the above. It is recommended that participants on medication should take ample supply with them. Any physical mental or emotional disability that may require special handling or treatment MUST be advised in writing when a reservation is made.

Parking – We recommend parking in the parking lot located across from the Target Shopping Complex on Egan Street or in the centre street parking on Brookman Street. Caravan and motor home parking is available on Cassidy Street off Brookman Street.
